Escape the medina for a magical day in nature with our signature private picnic excursion around Essaouira. This experience is designed for those who want to slow down and truly connect with the wild Atlantic landscape of Morocco's most enchanting coastal city. Your private driver will take you on a scenic journey along the Atlantic coast, through fragrant argan forests and past windswept dunes, to arrive at a hand-selected picnic location chosen for its beauty, tranquility, and panoramic views. Whether it's a clifftop overlooking the crashing Atlantic, a sheltered cove between sand dunes, a peaceful spot beside the Oued Ksob river, or a clearing in the argan forest — your driver knows the most spectacular hidden spots around Essaouira. We provide comfortable seating setup with blankets and cushions so you can relax in nature and enjoy a meal you bring from Essaouira's excellent food markets. This excursion is particularly popular for romantic occasions, family outings, birthday celebrations, and photographers seeking the golden hour Atlantic light. The flexible 6-hour format allows time for a scenic drive both before and after the picnic, giving you a complete experience of the Essaouira region.
Departure time flexible — morning (9:00 AM) recommended for best light and cooler temperatures. Bring your own food from Essaouira's medina or markets — your driver can suggest the best spots to buy fresh produce, local cheeses, bread, and pastries before departure. Atlantic coast can be windy — bring a light jacket. This experience is magical at sunset with afternoon departure around 3:00 PM.
